This Château La Verrerie red wine has a ruby colour with purplish purple reflections offering aromas of black fruits and sweet spices with a slight touch of liquorice.
Gustatively, we find a firm attack raised by tannins of a rare finesse. A crisp expression of juicy fruit is powerfully relayed by soft spices and grey pepper before reaching an elegant and suave finish.
They are fruits of lace, a large grenache juice, mixed with cinsault, carignan and syrah.
It can be consumed immediately or keep for 5 to 7 years.
This magnificent 2017 vintage will be ideal to accompany the veal liver pan-fried with raspberry vinegar or a tournedos with a green pepper sauce.
Food and wine pairing: Red meat, white meat.
Year: 2017
Taste: Rich wine and character.
Grape varieties: grenache, cinsault, carignan etsyrah.
Tasting: 16-18°
Volume of alcohol: 14.5%
