This wine from the South-West of France has fruit notes. On the palate, it is dry and supple at the same time, with a nice freshness.
It is excellent served fresh as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to your friendly meals. Its holding potential is two years, but the best is to taste it now.
It is known for the mixture of these two grape varieties: 80% Colombard and 20% Sauvignon. Its vinification is its own: night harvest, skin maceration, pneumatic pressing, low temperature fermentation and ageing on fine lees.
Food and wine pairing: Fresh as an aperitif, tapas, seafood platter, raclette, charcuterie, shellfish and fruity desserts.
Grape varieties: 80% Colombard, 20% Sauvignon.
Taste: Fruity notes, soft dry white.
Tasting: 10°
Volume of alcohol: 11.5%
The Estate and the Vineyard
François Morel is the head of the UBY domain. He comes from a generation of Swiss winemakers and a line of Armagnacais winemakers. He expresses his passion through quality wines, while remaining in the simplicity and dynamism of the development of the family estate.
A new cellar was built in 2012, guaranteeing the safety and development of the domain. The goal is to combine mastery and technicality.
