This Patrimonio rosé Haute vigne 2021 is an organic rosé from our friend Franck Santini of the eponymous Clos. Composed of 75% Niellucciu and 25% Grenache Noir, no doubt this cuvée is a gem. Freshness, minerality, fruitiness, all that one can expect from a rosé Patrimonio with in addition this organic side. Beautiful vintage.
Gold medal International challenge Gilbert & Gaillard.
Food and wine pairing: Fish, shells, white meats, tapas.
Year: 2021
Taste: Very balanced, full-bodied, mineral with some freshness on fruits, strawberry and a hint of pepper.
Tasting: 8/10°
The Estate and the Vineyard
Located in the North of Corsica, on the slopes facing the Gulf of Saint-Florent, on a mainly clay-limestone terroir with a high stony proportion the appellation Patrimonio benefits from the Mediterranean climate and the influence of mountain and granite soils, sandstone, limestone, sand and clay.
Franck Santini has been engaged for many years in an organic farming approach and has an estate at the foot of the Cap Corse in the Saint-Florent golf course. This farm is family-run since 1850 with successive alliances of large local families, Dominici, Montemagni.
