This champagne presents a sustained effervescence.
The first nose is fine, fresh, fruity. It has notes of apricot, hazelnuts and almonds, as well as some floral and spicy notes. The second nose is brioché, biscuité. The attack on the palate is frank. It leaves guessed aromas of queen-claude and brugnon. The finish is long and fresh, well balanced.
RUINART champagne is perfect for aperitif. It can also go with a light starter such as oysters and scallops, or a fish dish. It is also possible to offer it with a short ripening cheese.
Food and wine pairing: As an aperitif, as a starter with oysters or scallops, or with a fish dish.
Taste: Complex champagne, well balanced with beautiful intensity.
Tasting: 6/8°
Volume of alcohol: 12%
The Estate and the Vineyard
RUINART is the oldest champagne house. The monk Dom Thierry Ruinart, contemporary of Louis XIV, tames the worldly life and the echoes of this new sparkling wine; not yet bearing the name of champagne. His nephew, Nicolas Ruinart wrote the founding act of the Maison Ruinart in 1729. It is the first in the world.
Three centuries later, the House continues to grow and become more refined, thanks to the special talents of each of the generations of the RUINART lineage.
Among the seven grape varieties authorized by the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée Champagne, Chardonnay was chosen by the Maison Ruinart. Complex, it brings elegance and aromatic freshness.
