The champagne : IRROY ROSE
Champagne IRROY Rosé is made from 20 different wines from the main regions of the Champagne vineyards. Its main grape variety is Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier at 80%. The addition of 20% Chardonnay brings it its essential touch of elegance and freshness. It is by a stay of about two years in the cellar and a just dosage that it is a rosé champagne of seduction.
This lively and young champagne is dominated by fresh red fruits such as cherry and red currant. Its attack is generous and unctuous. This cuvée enjoys a wonderful mineral balance. It will suit the conviviality of an aperitif or around gourmet pastries.
It is a product with an excellent quality/price ratio.
The estate and the vineyard
IRROY was created in 1820. She is part of TAITTINGER, which gives her the advantage of having the same supplies and the same techniques as her well-known parent company. This cuvée remains however very different from the TAITTINGER champagnes, the brand shows a rejuvenated and resolutely modern image.
As far as the vineyard is concerned, the wines are selected mainly in the regions of the Champagne vineyard (Montagne de Reims, Vallée de l'Ardre, Sézannais, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Bars).
