This red Languedoc PDO was born in St Christol and raised in certified organic farming at Domaine Bort.
This domain is the only one of the appellation in BIO, born in the commune of St Christol, 15 minutes from Montpellier on the slopes ranging from 50 meters to 100 meters of altitude slightly hilly.
This very nice red wine, is deep, with aromas of red fruits (raspberry and blackcurrant) predominant, with spicy and peppery notes, resulting from the blend of Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache noir and Syrah.
Food and wine pairing: red or white meats, charcuteries, stuffed tomatoes, calamari, cod brandade, fish...

Taste: Fresh and gourmet wine with aromas of red fruits associated with spices, evolving to leather, toasted almonds, dried fruits after 4 or 5 years of aging.
Tasting: Drink between 17/18 °C.
The Estate and the Vineyard
Maison Bort is the largest wine estate in Saint-Christol, on the border of Montpellier. It consists of 65 hectares of vineyards. Frédéric Bort has led the farm since 2009 and has converted his crops to organic farming.
