The White Witches of Clos des Fées is a blend of Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, and Roussanne planted in 2011 on a limestone soil, complemented by very old Macabeu vines. Harvesting is done by hand, on a clay-limestone terroir. Direct pressing of whole clusters is followed by aging in stainless steel tanks on fine lees.

On the nose, it reveals an intoxicating complexity with aromas of white flowers, white fruits such as peach, citrus fruits like lemon and grapefruit, along with subtle notes of hawthorn. On the palate, it offers a refreshing and fruity liveliness, dominated by citrus, especially lemon, and finishes with a delicate saline touch and hints of apple. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with seafood, lobster tails, saffron monkfish, or fennel-seared sea bass.

The emphasis is on the conviviality of the White Witches of Clos des Fées. A cuvée to explore without delay!

The Estate and the Vineyard

Located on a geological diversity similar to the land of Alsace or Madagascar, the vineyard enjoys an exposure sometimes to the north, sometimes to the south. The vineyard climbs fast and well with 350 meters in just a few kilometers. Concerned to preserve the old vines and the history of the vineyard, the Domaine du Clos des Fées uses suitable means to preserve the biodiversity of the soils. The harvest is done manually to preserve all the delicacy of the grapes.
