- New

This red wine is an blend of Syrah (50%), Grenache Noir (35%), Carignan (10%), and Mourvèdre (5%). The grapes come from old vines aged between 40 and 80 years, as well as young vines, grown on clay-limestone soils located at an altitude of 200 to 350 meters. The winemaking process includes a cold maceration before fermentation, followed by a maceration lasting 15 to 21 days with daily pump-overs. The wine is aged for 8 months in stainless steel tanks on fine lees.
This cuvée embodies the excellence of Clos des Fées, offering a perfect balance between power and finesse.

Located on a geological diversity similar to the land of Alsace or Madagascar, the vineyard enjoys an exposure sometimes to the north, sometimes to the south. The vineyard climbs fast and well with 350 meters in just a few kilometers. Concerned to preserve the old vines and the history of the vineyard, the Domaine du Clos des Fées uses suitable means to preserve the biodiversity of the soils. The harvest is done manually to preserve all the delicacy of the grapes.
