Deep ruby red in colour, it refers to red fruits such as strawberry, raspberry or cherry. On the palate, this Mercurey Rouge is fruity, rich and whole. Tannins provide mineral firmness when young. At maturity, we observe the appearance of a pretty fleshy roundness.
This 2013 vintage is a Village appellation composed of 32 climates classified in 1st Cru and located on the Chalonnaise Coast, in Bourgogne.

The Estate and the Vineyard
The Henry Fessy estate has been a family business since 1888 that produces Beaujolais wines and has made them its specialty over the years.
Respectful of nature, the estate is concerned with traditional methods of pruning and grassing plots. This concern allows them to produce expressive wines with a unique character while offering quality products representative of the Beaujolais wines.
