The Estate and the Vineyard

 
Originating from the 1981 division of the paternal vineyards among the four Girardin siblings, the Domaine Yves Girardin initially covered 3 hectares. The acquisition of Château de la Charrière in 2004 expanded the estate to 21.5 hectares, with its headquarters located in the hamlet of Santenay-le-Haut.
 
Today, the thirteenth generation of the Girardin family continues the winemaking tradition and passionately manages this estate situated in the charming village of Santenay, Burgundy. Yves oversees 21.5 hectares of renowned vineyards, including prestigious appellations from the Côte de Beaune such as Pommard and Chassagne-Montrachet. In 2003, the estate grew with the purchase of Château de la Charrière and the construction of a brand-new winery. It’s a family story to savor and explore, much to the delight of wine lovers!
