The Estate and the Vineyard
The Domaine d'Ardhuy is spread across the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy. The vineyards are worked with deep respect for the terroir, with perfect mastery of the various stages of wine production.
As a family-owned estate, our vineyard lies on the border between the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits, at the heart of Burgundy. Nestled within our emblematic vineyard, 'Le Clos des Langres', is where all our wines are vinified. The vineyard team takes meticulous care and respect of the 125 plots (climats) across 45 appellations that make up our terroir.
Today, Gabriel d'Ardhuy's seven daughters have taken over and continue the valuable work started by their father. One of the sisters vinifies and maintains the vines at Domaine de La Cabotte in the Rhône Valley, while several others are involved daily at Domaine d'Ardhuy, surrounded by other enthusiasts, to ensure responsible and high-quality viticulture. The estate spans 38.5 hectares, encompassing some of Burgundy's finest appellations such as Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru "Petit Maupertui", Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, Corton Grand Cru, Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet... Forty-five different appellations, including six Grands Crus and fifteen Premiers Crus, as well as fifteen Villages, await you to discover them.
