Located in Marsannay-la-Côte, in the northern part of Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, Domaine Jean Fournier is a family-owned estate with a history dating back to the 17th century. Now managed by Laurent Fournier, the domaine upholds a strong winemaking tradition while embracing a modern and environmentally respectful approach.
The estate covers approximately 16 hectares, mainly spread across the appellations of Marsannay, Fixin, Gevrey-Chambertin, and Bourgogne. The vineyard primarily grows Pinot Noir, alongside Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Aligoté.
For several years, Domaine Jean Fournier has been recognized for its commitment to organic farming, officially certified since 2008. The vines are carefully tended without synthetic chemicals, and the winemaking process emphasizes purity, precision, and respect for the terroir.
