Château Haut Reys is a Graves white wine, primarily made from Sauvignon, Sémillon, and Muscadelle, sourced from clay-limestone soils. It undergoes aging in vats on fine lees, which imparts great finesse. This blend results in an expressive wine with vibrant aromas of fresh citrus and exotic fruits, all supported by a lovely mineral freshness typical of the terroir.
Pairing: This wine pairs beautifully with seafood, such as oysters or grilled shrimp, where its refreshing acidity and mineral character complement the delicate flavors. It also pairs well with fish dishes like roasted sea bass or veal blanquette with cream, which will highlight its floral and fruity aromas. Aged goat cheese will enhance its fresh notes and harmoniously complete the overall flavor profile.

The Estate and the Vineyard
Château Haut-Reys was established in 1977 through the merger of several small properties. In 1997, Isabelle and Grégoire Gabin, both from families of winemakers and farmers, took over the estate located in the Graves appellation, in La Brède, Gironde, the birthplace of philosopher Montesquieu. Their passion for the land and wine led them to revive this vineyard.
The estate required restructuring, and in 1999, they began marketing Château Haut-Reys under their own name, traveling throughout France with private sales and themed tastings directly at the winery. The success was immediate: through tasting after tasting, their wine became well-known and loved.
In 2000, their family grew with the birth of their first daughter, Marine, followed by their son, Paul, in the following year. In 2004, their second daughter, Eloïse, completed the family.
Over the years, the family has expanded their product range: a red wine aged in oak barrels, a dry white also aged in oak, and Paumarel, a cuvée dedicated to their children Paul, Marine, and Eloïse. They also introduced the Gabin Graves Rouge cuvée, presented in an elegant wooden box.
Today, the Gabin family offers wines with exceptional quality/price ratios, transforming each bottle into a unique and highly appreciated experience of pleasure.
