Discover the Amaranthe AOC Chinon wine, an exceptional nectar that will delight your taste buds! With its garnet-red colour and greedy nose of fresh red fruit, this wine exudes delicate aromas of crushed strawberry and raspberry with a hint of spices. Its softness and lightness make it a tender and tasty wine, perfect to accompany your meals or your moments of relaxation.
The name Amaranthe is inspired by a small plant found in our vines, whose purple red color evokes that of our chinons when they are young and full of fruit. But Amaranth is also a symbol of immortality because it never fades, thus recalling the advice of François Rabelais: "Always drink, never die".
Food and wine pairing: Poultry, white meat, goat cheese or exotic cuisine.
Year: 2023
Taste: Garnet red color, notes of red fruit, strawberry and raspberry aromas crushed with a touch of spices. A tender and tasty wine.
Tasting: 14-16°C
The Estate and the Vineyard
Christophe BAUDRY and Jean-Martin DUTOUR write a new page of their history by implanting themselves in the heart of Touraine. Their exploration of the terroirs dedicated to Sauvignon Blanc naturally led them to the Val de Cher where the expression of this grape variety is one of the most renowned.
They entrust the vineyard to Justine, Christophe’s daughter, who returns to her native region after exploring the vineyards of the world. She uses her know-how acquired in New Zealand, «the other country of Sauvignon», to reveal the subtleties of this grape variety, grown here according to the specifications of Organic Agriculture, in its preferred terroir.
