Estate and vineyard
At the end of the 1990s, Mr. Chapoutier took over the management of the family business, which has been established in the Rhône Valley since 1808. His goal was to promote biodynamic practices to produce wines with minerality and character. Thanks to this approach, he significantly improved the quality of his wines, which now age exceptionally well. The trading house has since enjoyed a period of prosperity, thanks to investments in other regions and countries, including Australia.
Michel Chapoutier is known for his enthusiasm and his passion for wine and life.
