The Estate and its Vineyard:

Riccadonna was founded in 1921 in Canelli, a small town located in the province of Asti, in the Piedmont region of north-western Italy. Canelli is renowned for its vineyards and winemaking expertise, particularly in the production of sparkling wines. It was here that Riccadonna was born, with a commitment to creating high-quality wines that embody the essence of the Italian terroir.

Since its inception, Riccadonna has stood out for its dedication to producing top-quality Proseccos and Moscato d'Asti, using traditional winemaking methods while highlighting the unique characteristics of local grapes. The company has successfully combined history, expertise, and modernity to craft wines that are now enjoyed worldwide.

The name Riccadonna has become synonymous with refinement and elegance, and its cuvées are often associated with moments of celebration and conviviality. With meticulous production and a deep respect for viticultural traditions, Riccadonna continues to carry forward the winemaking heritage of the Asti region and Italy through its wines.

Riccadonna began by producing typical Piedmontese wines and Vermouth. In 2003, it was acquired by the prestigious Gruppo Campari, marking a significant turning point in its history. This Prosecco features a pale yellow color with greenish reflections, adorned with fine, persistent bubbles that add a touch of lightness. Its bouquet, delicate and refined, reveals subtle aromas of white flowers, crisp apple, fresh lemon, and acacia honey. On the palate, it is elegant, smooth, and well-balanced, offering a silky texture and a pleasant, fresh, and flavorful finish. A wine of true character, perfect for celebrating special moments.
