This very pretty Bordeaux, from the assembly of several productions of historical partners of the house Baron Philippe de Rothschild, is high and bottled within the domain.
It is a complementary Bordeaux red wine from Mouton Cadet, which offers here, a rather fresh and fruity style, very accessible, constituting a nice entry-level range of this ancestral house, and which also benefits from the experience of this famous house, which has given rise to exceptional wines, such as the Château de Rothschild and the Château Lafite Rothschild.
A wine ready to be tasted, offering all the necessary and expected taste and olfactory qualities.
Food and wine pairing: Perfect to accompany red or white meats, a delicious pork chop with prunes, an excellent pot-au-feu, or a cheese platter.
Taste: The palate is round and crisp. Beautiful notes of red and black fruits appear in the middle of the mouth, with a finish marked by a persistent black fruit.
Tasting: 18/19°
Volume of alcohol: 13.5%
The Estate and the Vineyard
This red Bordeaux is the fruit of the assembly of grapes harvested on the plots of different productions of the house’s historical partners, which are the subject of a well-established follow-up according to a specification specific to the house Baron Philippe de Rothschild.
The harvest that will be controlled and followed by the oenologists of the house, will be scratched and strided, then put in vats so that the alcoholic fermentation can be controlled, in order to preserve all the expression of the grapes.
The malolactic fermentation takes place in vats, thus allowing to soften and round the wines.
An excellent fresh and fruity red Bordeaux.
