The red wine La Bélière, from the Bordeaux appellation, is undoubtedly one of the best choices in terms of value for money among the wines of Baron Philippe de Rothschild. It stands out among Bordeaux wines thanks to its remarkable aromatic potential.

This wine presents a brilliant ruby color and reveals a beautiful richness and power. On the nose, it first opens with subtle and spicy aromas, which, with aeration, give way to notes of red fruits like redcurrant and raspberry.

On the palate, its bouquet expresses itself clearly, offering a fresh and smooth attack. The mid-palate is generous and full-bodied, leading to a delicate and finely fruity finish, reminiscent of strawberry and redcurrant.

This Bordeaux red complements Mouton Cadet, offering a fresh and fruity style that is highly accessible, making it an excellent entry-level option from this ancestral house. It also benefits from the expertise of this renowned winery, which has produced exceptional grand crus, such as Château de Rothschild and Château Lafite Rothschild.

A wine ready to be enjoyed, offering all the expected gustatory and olfactory qualities.

The Estate and the Vineyard

This red Bordeaux is the fruit of the assembly of grapes harvested on the plots of different productions of the house’s historical partners, which are the subject of a well-established follow-up according to a specification specific to the house Baron Philippe de Rothschild.

The harvest that will be controlled and followed by the oenologists of the house, will be scratched and strided, then put in vats so that the alcoholic fermentation can be controlled, in order to preserve all the expression of the grapes.

The malolactic fermentation takes place in vats, thus allowing to soften and round the wines.

An excellent fresh and fruity red Bordeaux.
