Taste: On the palate, the wine is harmonious and well-balanced, with silky tannins and a beautiful roundness. Its structure allows it to develop over time, while still being enjoyable to drink now. On the nose, it offers a rich aromatic bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, accompanied by subtle hints of spices and vanilla, resulting from barrel aging.

The Estate and the Vineyard

The Domaine Valérie Germain & Sébastien Cazaux is a wine estate located in Saint-Martin-Lacaussade, in the Blaye – Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, in the Gironde region. Since 2011, Valérie Germain, with 25 years of experience at the helm of an ancestral vineyard, has been sharing her passion with Sébastien Cazaux, a true enthusiast of the profession. Together, they have created the brand Secret des Roches, revealing unique wines that reflect the best terroirs of the Blayais.

The estate covers 26 hectares, primarily planted with Merlot, on clay-limestone soils. The vines benefit from a favorable microclimate, conducive to optimal grape maturation. The viticultural approach combines respect for the terroir with modern techniques, aiming to produce authentic and high-quality wines.
