The Estate and the Vineyard
The terroir of this Haut-Médoc is composed of gravel, which absorbs heat during the day and releases it at night.
Each plot selected for the production of this Haut-Médoc Mouton Cadet Reserve is monitored by Baron Philippe de Rothschild's oenologists to determine the optimal date to start the harvest.
This process ensures the preservation of the personality and diversity of each plot and grape variety, allowing for the creation of a high-quality blend.
After a long maceration period, the juices will then be aged in French oak barrels for 10 months before being bottled at the Vinicole center of Mouton Cadet.
