The Estate and the Vineyard
The Domaine des Sénéchaux, property of the Cazes family since 2006, is one of the must-see domains of the appellation Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The 2011 vintage comes from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Vaccarese and Cinsault. With a dark red color tinged with violet, it delivers aromas of black cherries, raspberries, but also liquorice, undergrowth and truffle. On the palate, the Domaine des Sénéchaux rouge 2011 combines strength and elegance, with silky tannins and a very smooth finish.
