The Estate and the Vineyard
The Michel Juillot estate is located in Burgundy, between the Côte Chalonnaise and the Côte de Beaune, in Mercurey.
It is the property of Laurent Juillot and has belonged to the family for four generations, making it a family business with historical know-how. This farm covers about thirty hectares of vineyards.
Within this vineyard, the harvest is manual and the selection of the reasons is done meticulously on the sorting table. Fermentation takes about 12 months in oak barrels.
