The Estate and the Vineyard
Located in the southern region of the Languedoc vineyard, in Saint André de Roquelongue, Aude, the Domain benefits from a mild climate thanks to the proximity of the Mediterranean Sea, generous sunshine, and a soil composed of a blend of clay, limestone, and sandy gravel. The grape varieties cultivated include grenache, carignan, mourvèdre, and syrah for red wines, and grenache blanc, chardonnay, muscat à petits grains, viognier, vermentin, carignan blanc, and maccabeu for white wines. For approximately ten years, the estate has embraced an organic approach to viticulture.
Domaine La Bouysse produces a diverse range of wines, including reds, whites, and rosés under the IGP Aude Hauterive, AOP Corbières, and Grand Cru AOP Boutenac appellations. Corbières white wines stand out for their clarity and fruity profile, while the reds offer spicy aromas, slight astringency, and a velvety texture.
