Pessac-Léognan AOC - Château Coucheroy 2021 Rouge is an elegant and refined red wine, produced in one of the most prestigious appellations of the Bordeaux region, Pessac-Léognan. This wine is crafted by Vignobles Lurton, a winery renowned for its constant pursuit of quality and the perfect expression of its terroirs.
The 2021 vintage was marked by varied climatic conditions, which allowed the grapes to reach beautiful ripeness while preserving a lovely freshness. Château Coucheroy 2021 presents a typical Pessac-Léognan blend, with a dominant proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon and a touch of Merlot, which provide both power, structure, and smoothness.
Accord : The Pessac-Léognan Château Coucheroy Rouge 2021 pairs perfectly with a variety of refined dishes, including grilled or roasted red meats, ideally steaks, rib-eye, or leg of lamb. It also complements game meats, such as pheasant, venison, or wild boar. Saucy dishes, hard cheeses like comté, gruyère, or aged parmesan, and Mediterranean cuisine, such as ratatouille or grilled lamb with Provence herbs, all pair wonderfully with the structure and aromas of this wine.

Goût : On the nose, this wine reveals intense aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and blackcurrant, complemented by subtle notes of spices and cedar. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced, with silky tannins and a beautiful freshness that imparts great elegance. The finish is long, persistent, and slightly woody, a result of aging in oak barrels, giving the wine a lovely depth. A smooth, pleasant, and harmonious wine.
