The Estate and the Vineyard

Vignoble Gonfrier is a family winery located in the Entre-Deux-Mers wine region in Gironde, in the south-west of France. Founded in 1956 by André Gonfrier, the company is now run by the third generation of the Gonfrier family.

The estate covers 450 hectares of vineyards, a large part of which is located on clay-limestone hillsides, benefiting from a terroir conducive to the cultivation of different grape varieties such as merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and sauvignon blanc.

Gonfrier Vineyard produces a wide range of Bordeaux wines, ranging from fruity and supple red wines to dry and aromatic white wines. The estate is also known for its light and refreshing rosé wines, as well as its elegant and festive sparkling wines.

Gonfrier Vineyard attaches great importance to the quality of its wines and implements techniques of reasoned viticulture to preserve the environment and guarantee the health of the soils and vines. The vinification is carried out with modern and grape-friendly techniques to preserve the aromas and natural flavors of the terroir.

In addition to producing quality wines, Vignoble Gonfrier also offers guided tours of its facilities as well as wine tastings in its tasting cellar. The domain is open all year and welcomes visitors in a friendly and warm environment
