This red Bandol Dedication, bottled at the Domaine, was created in collaboration with several families of winemakers, by "Henri Fabre Domaines & Châteaux".
Presented in Bordeaux bottle, this exceptional wine, harvested, destemmed, crushed, macerated for 20 days, then aged in oak barrels for about 20 months, matured in an air-conditioned cellar, offers a ruby red wine deeply marked by notes of red fruit, a complexity typical of the Bandols, leaving an exceptional and remarkable storage potential for a South-East Mediterranean wine.
Its soil in clay-limestone basements, exposed South West, offers a yield of 35hl/ha.
Food and wine pairing: Grilled red meats, Game Cheeses.
Year: 2023
Taste: Balanced entry, dominated by fruit. This Bandol of a beautiful ruby red color seduces by its notes of fresh fruit, mainly blackcurrant, liquorice revealing the typicity of the great murvèdre.
Tasting: 16/17°
Volume of alcohol: 13.5%.
The Estate and the Vineyard
The Fabre en Provence estate was created in 1920 by Mr. Henri Fabre. Subsequently, upon the acquisition of the Château de la Clapière in 1928 and then the Château de l'Aumérade in 1932, M. Fabre devoted himself exclusively to his castles. It was one of the first to have its own bottling line and worked for the fame of the Côtes de Provence.
