The Bissey Winery was founded in 1928 and is one of the very first wineries in Burgundy and the oldest in Côte Chalonnaise. It was founded by Dr Ozanon. He was at the time the forerunner of wine cooperation. This union offered several advantages to the winegrowers who joined together: the mastery of winemaking, the breeding and the marketing of their wines.
The Bissey Cellar has preserved its original structure by its size remained on a human scale. It is always a friendly and family atmosphere that animates the winemakers with a single common goal: Respect the terroir by producing quality wines.
