This red wine of protected designation of origin Gigondas is made of the alliance of 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre.

It is in the Rhone Valley that this wine of pleasure is designed, harvested by hand, not scratched, fermented with indigenous yeasts and macerated for 4/5 weeks.

This wine is glued and unfiltered, then aged in barrels of 3 years minimum for 5 months.

True to its appellation, Le Gigondas "Les Bergines" seduces with its dark red dress. Very scented with intense red fruits, spicy, with a fleshy and suave mouth attack of a length in the end on soft tannins with liquorice and toasted notes..

Serving tip: Carafe it half an hour before tasting and serve at 17/18°C.

The Estate and the Vineyard

The Ligière estate is located in the Rhone Valley, in Beaume de Venise. It is a biodynamic and organic vineyard composed of 60 hectares of vines shared in 2, 30 hectares of Vacqueyras and 30 hectares of Gigondas.

The BERNARD family has been cultivating these lands for 5 generations now, taken over entirely by Elisabeth SERRA and Philippe BERNARD in 2008.

The soils are returned and cultivated regularly, fertilized with organic compost, the vines being protected by 100% natural products such as copper, biodynamic preparations, plant infusions.
