Domaine Hersard du Fondis is an iconic family-owned estate located in Saint‑Nicolas‑de‑Bourgueil, in the heart of France’s Loire Valley. Building on a winemaking heritage passed down through several generations, Guy and Benoît Hersard passionately cultivate nearly 19 hectares of vineyards, planted mainly with Cabernet Franc on the sandy, gravelly and clay-limestone soils that are characteristic of the appellation.
Deeply committed to respecting both the vineyard and its environment, the estate is certified High Environmental Value (HVE) and follows sustainable viticultural practices designed to preserve and express the full richness and authenticity of its terroir.
