Domaine de Marcé is located in the “Sologne Viticole” area, within the AOC Touraine and AOC Touraine Oisly appellations. This family-run vineyard, managed by Christophe Godet since 2008, spans approximately 32 hectares.
Situated in the Loir-et-Cher department (41), on a vast plateau between two rivers, the estate lies near the Château de Cheverny and about 30 kilometers from the magnificent Château de Chambord, in the village of Oisly.
The vineyard’s gently sloping hills rise to around 131 meters and face the rising sun. Its mild climate and unique soil—composed of fine sand over a layer of clay—define the distinctive character of Oisly wines.
The sandy soils bring finesse, elegance, and smoothness, while the clay retains water, preventing summer water stress and adding richness, depth, and structure to the wines.
Sauvignon Blanc is the flagship grape, accounting for 80% of the estate’s production.
Domaine de Marcé produces a wide range of wines, including white wines (Sauvignon, Chardonnay) under AOC Touraine, red wines (Gamay, Cabernet, Côt), rosé wines (Cabernet, Pineau d’Aunis), as well as traditional method sparkling wines.
