The 2025 vintage is a blend of Grenache and Grenache Gris, offering delicate aromas of small red berries that delight the senses. Gérard Bertrand’s Gris Blanc rosé is best enjoyed chilled, between 10 and 12°C, perfect as an aperitif or paired with shellfish, seafood, fish, Mediterranean salads, Asian dishes, or spicy cuisine. On the palate, it reveals a subtle effervescence that enhances the tasting experience.
This wine stands out for its purity and clarity, delivering a unique sensory experience. During vinification, the grapes are hand-harvested and immediately pressed. Fermentation takes place under a carbon dioxide atmosphere to fully preserve the Grenache aromas. The wine is then fermented at low temperature and aged on fine lees for several weeks, giving it remarkable complexity and aromatic richness.

Gérard Bertrand discovered his passion for wine in 1975, when he took part in his first harvests. He then refined his skills over twelve years alongside his father, Georges Bertrand. He later took over the family estate, Domaine de Villemajou. Five years afterward, he founded his own company under his name, with the aim of developing a range of wines from the South of France. In the following years, he became the owner of Domaine de Cigalus and Château Laville Bertrou.
His vineyards are located in the South of France, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea. This area benefits from a favorable climate, with low rainfall and abundant sunshine.
